Sorry! Been lazy after a long vacation!

The holidays, broken down car...then a fantastic vacation really have eaten up the time. Don't worry. I'll be coming back very shortly and I have literally DOZENS of wine reviews ready for publication.

Boy, that trip to Hawaii was fantastic, though. Nothing like stepping directly from the resort to the beach. Anyway...Not looking forward to the rest of this bitter Ohio winter. Now, a nice pinot to take the edge off. ;)

Cameron Close of Ohio Wine Making Fame Leads Cru Vin Dogs Wine Group

A team of Colorado, California and Ohio wine makers has announced the formation of Cru Vin Dogs, a new brand that features portraits of dogs and donates a portion of their proceeds for canine-related charities.

Cru Vin Dogs Wine Group tracks down small lots of specials wines and grapes from vineyards throughout the world to create their own custom blends of exceptional quality and an emphasis on value. This effort is led by Mary Snellgrove and Bill Foss, two seasoned professionals with decades of experience in distribution and sales. Company co-founder and artist Jay P. Snellgrove, California winemaker and viticulturist Tony Wasowicz, and Ohio director and Certified Wine Educator, Cameron Close.
